Dr. Glen Batson of Batson Chiropractic Clinic Reviewing Treatment Options of Morton's Neuroma: "FOOT PAIN"

​FOOT PAIN can come in many forms, and with many conditions, many of which can be quite debilitating. One such PAINFUL FOOT condition can be associates with a condition known as Morton’s Neuroma. Morton’s Neuroma begins as a sensation of persistent pain in the ball of your foot and usually pain at the base of the third and fourth toe.

Morton’s Neuroma is known as a benign tumor, but is actually a thickening and swelling/inflammation of the tissue that surrounds the digital nerves as they pass under the ligaments that connect the metatarsals (toe bones) of the forefoot. Morton’s Neuroma is most frequently associated between the third and fourth toes and is usually caused by irritation, trauma, or excessive pressure to the foot. The pain associated with Morton’s Neuroma can be a burning nerve type pain in the ball of the foot, between the base of the third and fourth toes and can radiate into the toes.

Dr. Batson of Batson Chiropractic of Willowbrook, Il effectively treats Morton’s Neuroma utilizing the K-Laser Class IV Laser Therapy.
